Useless Slime Boss
Hello there friends, in this little game you will play as an adorable little slime. And although it might be useless on it's own, it has a secret up his sleeve.
This game was made for VimJam2. The Requirement was "Boss" and the theme is on the edge.
I wanted to make a game where you play as the other side from a boss battle. So instead of having levels and power ups , you get "phases", if you drop below 0 hp, instead of dying you change phases, upgrading your abilities and stats. But don't overdo it, boss die too eventually.
For the theme, I've created a mechanic that allows you to absorb enemy abilities if you get really close to their attacks.
This is my first complete game so any feedback is heavily appreciated.

Such a fun game! Specially enjoyed the lazer-thingie and i really love the sounds. The animation of this game is so funny and its quiet easy to play ( changing the weapons by right clicking helped me A LOT). Totally reccomend this!

I had soooo much fun playing this game and I really enjoyed the boss mode!
The fact that you can charge your weapons by absorbing enemy abilities was definitely a first for me, but it was very easy to understand how it worked.
The music was lovely, the enemies were unique and the projectiles moved flawlessly. Loved the absorb animation and attack moves.
I'll be for sure back for more!

The Game Is Super FUN, I Love The Art, The Concept Is Amazing. The Graphics Are Amazing. You Can Just Jump Up And Never Come Down. So, The Music Is Good, Hope You Keep Making Game And Having FUN!
